We are excited to Welcome back our friends to the 2025 Peach State Futurity!

As Area 18 President, I am excited to welcome our incoming Show Secretary, Mrs. Vandy Walden. She has been an integral part of making the transition smooth as we said good bye to our beloved and happily retired show secretary, Judy Boozer! We are in great hands! We want to thank Cathy Varnadore for all her hard work, leadership, donations and care in overseeing the Scholarship Cutting for many years. She is passing the torch this year. our interim youth coordinator is Katie Edmonds-she is no stranger to the youth show pen having competed as a junior and then senior youth and beyond.

Area 18 welcomes our following board members serving alongside myself-be sure to thank them and give lots of feedback as they move forward with exciting ideas! Vice President Chase Lackey, McCuller Rodgers, Treasurer LaraBeth Smith, Priscilla Wilson, Kelly Gates, Kolby Moore, Jessie Pritchard, and Secretary Ashley Fehrman.

Many thanks to our esteemed show staff-so many who have been on board since day one in 2015. Announcer Brian Frost, Practice pen manager Skylar Kidd, Flag manager Bridget Lanham, our official photographer Sandra Lines, our Amateur Shootout pioneers-Chase and Jade Lackey, Dawn and David Lackey, Barnwell Ramsey, and Sandra Lines who all have worked hard to make this a much anticipated event at the show; a man of many talents Macon Massey, office guru Woody Brown, Eddie Braxton along with Laura Regan and their cattle hands, Sponsor Chairman Dennis Fehrman, Ashley Fehrman, and many others who have been working hard to bring this quality show to our friends on the East coast.  Each year, much effort is put into organizing all the details to bring together this cutting show filled with great classes, family fun, high class awards, and a scholarship cutting where our youth want to compete for generous scholarship earnings. We’ve strived to listen to our trainers, competitors, sponsors and volunteers to implement positive changes and make this a show our friends and family look forward to! We have a free welcome party for all attendees, limited aged events, weekend classes, a VIP lounge for sponsors and their guests,  amateur shootout event, and Region 5 scholarship event, all located at the beautiful Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Ga. The Peach State Futurity has become a premier cutting event in the Southeast. Countless hours and amazing staff, trainers, and volunteers have gone into the details, management, execution and labor of love it has taken to grow this cutting show year after year. We look forward to hosting our friends, VIP sponsors, competitors, and family back in August!
